Simon Joachimsmeier studied Economics and Business Administration with majors in Accounting at Goethe-University Frankfurt/Main. As an employee of the policy department of the Hessian Court of Auditors, he gained practical experience in the area of public accounting during his studies.

After completing his master’s degree, Simon Joachimsmeier started working for Deloitte in the field of auditing. Since April 2020 he has been working as an external doctoral student at the Chair of Auditing and Accounting and is working on his doctoral thesis with a research focus on international accounting.
