At the Chair of Accounting, esp. Financial Accounting and Corporate Governance, the completion of the bachelor thesis basically follows a structured schedule, which is described below.

We offer the following topics:

• ESRS Reporting: Evidence from Early Adopters

• Why do firms donate? A systematic literature review

We also offer bachelor theses in the field of sustainability reporting. We will also consider your own suggestions for topics.

As soon as we have received all your preferences, there will be a joint kick-off meeting to clarify initial questions and, above all, to concretize the topic of your respective bachelor thesis. This meeting is usually held digitally. Afterwards, you will write a short research exposé. After completion of the individual exposés, the bachelor theses are usually registered bundled at the examination office. As soon as this has been done, the processing time of currently 9 weeks begins.

We have no influence on the assignment of places. This is organized by the examination office via QIS. If the reservation of a place is not possible via QIS then all capacities are booked out. Unfortunately, mentoring beyond these capacities is not possible.
